Xperia Kyno |
Xperia Neo will be called Kyno in France. The name change comes after the Swedish-Japanese handset maker organized a Facebook contest inviting users to vote for the French name of Xperia Neo. At the end, users could pick between Xperia Steady and Xperia Kyno.
I guess Sony Ericsson’s marketing couldn’t envision a better thing to do. That said, maybe their next contest could be “How to call Sony Ericsson [the company] in Hungary?”
Anyway, the Xperia Neo / Kyno comes with a 3.7-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) touchscreen, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording capability, 1GHz processor, an array of sensors and a microSD slot. It will be available in France at some point in July
